Board of directors

The honorary Board of the District Youth Council of Middle Franconia is elected by the District Youth Council General Meeting. The Board determines the youth political guidelines and objectives and is responsible for the work of the District Youth Council, its activities and events.

The Board of directors is responsible for the ongoing tasks of the District Youth Council according to the statutory guidelines, the general rules of procedure and the resolutions of the District Youth Council General Meeting, the so-called strategic business programme. The chairperson represents the District Youth Council internally and externally and bears the overall responsibility. The District Youth Council Board consists of the chairperson, the vice-chairperson, five further members and a spokesperson from local youth work associations as an advisory member. According to the District Youth Council's rules of procedure, the Board must include at least two women and two men. Two members must also be members of the City or County Youth Council's Board of directors. The Board's term of office is two years.
